Food Packer

Employal Recruitment has an existing opportunity for Food Packers who are enthusiastic, reliable, and looking for work in Botany.

Hours are 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm

Rates increase after 3 months.
 
We have two types of jobs available and the duties may involve the following:

Cool room packer

• Making boxes
• Packing finished/packaged food items into boxes
• Working in a cool room environment 3 degrees
• Some light-medium lifting is involved

Production Line Operator

• Working in a cool room environment of 8 degrees
• Working on a food production line
• Handling raw ingredients eg rice, chicken, vegetables, spices
• Cleaning of work area
• Labeling orders

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

• Full working rights (Monday to Friday + Weekends)
• Comfortable working in a cool room environment 3 or 8 degrees
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment 
• Comfortable lifting 15kg and above (for cool room packer)
• Experience in or food-handling (hospitality or manufacturing) or willingness to learn
