Yard Hand

We are looking for an experienced Yard Hand to support our clients production team at their busy site in South Australia. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely handle, load and unload pipes and oversized materials for customer deliveries with accuracy and care
• Support customer collections and conduct stock checks
• Operate forklifts and yard equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre-start inspections, report issues and follow all safety protocols
• Assist with moving, organising and repurposing materials, including data entry
• Maintain a clean and safe yard through regular housekeeping and waste disposal
• Locate and prepare pipes and other items as requested
• Ensure smooth handovers and clear communication between teams

Requirements:

• 2–3 years' experience handling oversized or awkward freight
• Current forklift licence (LF) with hands-on yard experience
• Physically fit and able to regularly lift items up to 25kg, working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Computer literate with data entry experience — ERP software knowledge is a plus
• Strong commitment to safety and following site procedures
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
• Must have unlimited working rights (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
