Warehouse Shift Supervisor - Night Shift

Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a Warehouse Shift Supervisor to manage daily operations at their warehouse near Eastern Creek, NSW. This hands-on role involves supervising a small team, ensuring compliance with safety, operational, and administrative standards, while overseeing the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other equipment for loading and unloading goods.
• Utilise computer systems to manage order processing and inventory tracking.
• Supervise the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Follow delivery schedules and promptly report any discrepancies or delays.
• Accurately record stock movements and maintain inventory records.
• Ensure correct loading of outgoing shipments to prevent damage during transport.
• Monitor and maintain storage areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Conduct regular stock takes with a focus on accuracy and monitoring expiration dates.
• Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and security within the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in warehousing and operations management.
• Valid forklift licence with hands-on operating experience.
• Current first aid certificate or willingness to acquire it
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of WH&S processes and compliance.
• Experience in FMCG is a plus but not required.
