Site Leading Hand

In this role, you’ll set out sites, operate machinery, lead a small crew, and keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural, slab, and site plans 
• Understand soil conditions, torque readings, and working depths.
• Carry out precise site set-outs using a Robotic Total Station or manually.
• Operate 5.5t and 6.5t excavators 
• Identify potential design issues and provide clear, practical solutions.
• Train and mentor crew members for future leadership roles.
• Ensure all site work follows proper safety procedures and WHS requirements

Requirements

• Experience in bored piers or screw pile installation is desired
• Ability to read plans and understand structural requirements.
• Competent excavator operator (PD10, PD12, drill attachments).
• Valid driver’s licence and white card.
• Dependable, proactive, and hands-on work style.
• Full working rights in Australia.
