Machine Operator - Die Cutter (Day Shift)

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Die Cutting Operator to support their manufacturing operations in Regents Park, NSW. This role involves operating die cutting machinery to produce high-quality packaging solutions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor die-cutting machinery, ensuring cardboard sheets are accurately cut and creased according to specifications
• Conduct regular quality checks throughout production to ensure high quality standards are met
• Maintain detailed and accurate records related to job tasks and machine operations
• Troubleshoot and maintain die-cutting machinery to ensure minimal downtime
• Work closely with production staff to quickly address any process interruptions or equipment issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing operation
• Keep the work area clean and organised, following all relevant health and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Proven experience in die-cutting or a similar manufacturing role; printing/packaging industry experience is highly advantageous
• Strong mechanical skills with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining machinery
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow written instructions
• Proficient with basic computer systems and skilled in maintaining clear, accurate documentation
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
