Fire Service Technician

We are working with a growing fire protection business servicing commercial clients across NSW. They work across installation, programming and maintenance of fire systems, with sites spanning Sydney metro and select regional locations.

They're a tight crew with a strong pipeline of project work and they need an experienced Fire Service Technician to come on board.


What you'll be doing

• Installation and commissioning of fire detection and suppression systems
• System programming and configuration
• Testing, safety reporting and compliance on commercial buildings
• Overhauling existing fire systems
• Face-to-face engagement with site managers, builders and customers

About you

• Licensed Electrician (essential)
• Minimum 5 years' experience with fire systems
• Sound knowledge of BCA, AS1670 and AS1668
• FSA accreditation to assess fire systems (highly regarded)
• Full drivers licence + White Card
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
• Medical and police checks required for some projects

The package

• $50 per hour
• Overtime available
• 8-hour days, additional RDOs accrued
• Company vehicle provided
